After months of preparation, discussion, and consultation with community members, city leaders, and other key individuals in our region, Complete Streets Bellevue officially launches today! We envision this organization to be a “one-stop-shop” for all things safe streets & sustainable transportation in our city in a park – working at the intersections of environmental, social, and racial justice to create a greener, safer, and more equitable city.
CSB continues the great work started by organizations such as Cascade Bicycle Club and will work alongside environmental organizations like 350 Eastside, PCA Bellevue, and others to ensure our city’s transportation system is sustainable and resilient. We will expand upon the groundwork laid by our daughter organization, Downtown for People, and continue to seek out those in our city who are passionate about climate action & safe streets.
